Woodland Hills, CA (February 26 2008)—LandMark Retail Group, a division of NewMark Merrill Companies, announces the appointment of Scott Isdaner as Vice President of Real Estate. Isdaner will be responsible for development of targeted real estate sites in Southern California. He will focus on the corporate real estate expansion programs for a Fortune 30 drugstore chain and other retailers.

Islander comes to Landmark Retail Group from OneWorldLive where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that position he was Global Industries’ President; Murray’s Discount Auto Stores Chief Executive Officer; VIP Discount Auto Center President and Chief Executive Officer; The Pep Boys Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and President, and Chairman of the Board of Jewish Big Brothers of Los Angeles, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. Isdaner has a BS in Economics from Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
